Logan Area Special Needs Parents: A FREE seminar will be conducted on Tuesday, August 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Word of Life Church at 518 Mudfork Road, Logan, West Virginia.
The topic for the day will be "Advocating and Navigating through Special Education Laws and Policies.” Absolutely FREE to the public, but please register by Friday, August 19th:

If you or a family member have a school-aged special needs child, this class can be extremely beneficial. The seminar will be conducted by a WV Legal Aid advocate and will cover themes such as a child’s rights under IDEA and your rights during the IEP process.
This WV Legal Aid educational effort is also in partnership with a number of local resources including Family Resource Network, Mountain Laurel Integrated Healthcare / LMAMH, Living Waters Medical Center, and other community-minded organizations and individuals.
